My machine is back with water soluble thread!

Saturday at six o'clock I finally got a phone call. My sewing machine was OK again. So I can sew again. They showed me a Husqvarna  Sapphire machine for quilting while I was waiting. What as beauty! What a possibilities I miss with the Emerald. But I know: they always give you the feeling that you need a better machine. And it works.

We had a busy weekend with talking to a broker for the new home, a baby shower and a dinner. and packing for a week off in Belgium. I made this for my daugther in law. I sewed it sunday mornig, when my husband was still asleep. I thought there was white thread on the bobbin, but when I it was almost finished I realized the repairman used water soluble thread!! I was so happy that I had another gift for the shower.

I need it to wash, to see what is sewn with watersuluble thread!

Yesterday evening I found some time to finish this mini quilt. Fun quilting with autumn colors on my own machine.

I need to finish another one. These samplers are the most wanted gifts.
